Housing

The HOME Investments Partnerships Program (HOME) is a federally funded, large-scale grant program designed to strengthen partnerships between public and private agencies to provide affordable housing within state and local communities.

South Delta works primarily with the Homeowner Rehabilitation part of the HOME program.  The Homeowner Rehabilitation Program allows local communities to use HOME funds to improve their housing situation by reconstructing dilapidated housing. The programs cover the following areas: Bolivar, Humphreys, Issaquena, Sharkey, Sunflower and Washington Counties.
